How to Use Dealer Signatures to Predict Lucky Roulette Numbers
Gamblers use several techniques to try to get an edge at roulette. Almost all of these could be considered attempts at predicting lucky roulette numbers. Fruity casa casino 50 free spins.
Dealer signatures are supposed to help gamblers predict roulette numbers. The premise behind this roulette strategy is that a croupier (the roulette dealer) gets into a routine where he drops the ball at the same point with the wheel spinning at the same speed. After a period of time, if you watch closely, you can predict where the ball might land by finding out how this signature works.
To succeed with a dealer signature strategy, you first need to find a croupier who spins the ball the same way every time. That should ensure that it travels the same distance around the rim of the roulette wheel before landing every time.
You can determine if your croupier does this by simply observing closely.
The theory is that if the wheel is spinning at the same speed every time, you can predict a range of numbers where the ball might land by looking at which number is under the dealer’s hand when he lets go of the ball.
You have a brief period of time when the ball is still spinning and the wheel is still turning when you can bet on those numbers.
Casinos claim that this strategy doesn’t work. I don’t know anyone who’s succeeded with it.
But you can decide for yourself how effectively you can use dealer signatures to predict lucky roulette numbers.
How to Find Biased Roulette Wheels and Use Them to Predict Lucky Roulette Numbers
A biased roulette wheel is one that lands on some numbers more often than it statistically should. It also lands on other numbers less often than it statistically should. If you can find a biased roulette wheel, you can predict the winning numbers with a higher percentage of accuracy than other gamblers.
This can turn a negative expectation game into a positive expectation quickly.
100 years ago, it wasn’t unusual to find a rigged roulette wheel. In fact, it might not have even been rigged intentionally — the wheels are mechanical objects, and such things are going to function wrong some of the time. That’s just the nature of machines — even simple ones like roulette wheels.
Times have changed, though, so if you want to find a roulette wheel with a bias, you should stick with the cheapest, most low rent casinos you can find.
Modern casinos with a big budget replace their equipment regularly.
I don’t know anyone who’s succeeded at finding biased roulette wheels, either, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible.
If you wanted to find a biased wheel, you’d need to track which results were coming up so that you’d know which ones have a greater probability of appearing.
How to Eyeball the Roulette Wheel to Beat Roulette
Some gamblers think they can predict where the ball will wind up just by watching the ball and the wheel and analyzing both’s speeds.
This was a popular strategy 20 years ago, but it’s grown less popular over time. I do know gamblers who tried to learn how to do this. None of them succeeded. Some switched to Texas holdem, but others just quit gambling altogether.
- If you want to learn how to do this, here’s what you need to do:
- Get good at estimating the speed of the ball.
- Get a feel for how many times the ball bounces before it lands on a number.
- Pay attention to which direction the ball bounces in most of the time.
- Decide which section of the wheel is most likely to result in a landing and bet on the numbers in that section.
Why is this so hard to do?
For one thing, roulette is a fast game. The ball moves fast. So does the wheel.
And the bumpers are there for a reason. They’re intentionally designed to randomize the outcome.
Eyeballing the wheel and ball and trying to make predictions accordingly is fine to try, but don’t get too hopeful.
How to Use a Handheld Computer to Predict Winning Roulette Numbers
Using a handheld computer that’s designed to beat roulette isn’t just an advantage gambling technique — it’s outright cheating. It’s illegal almost everywhere. In Nevada, for example, cheating at casino games is a felony.
Don’t even try using a computer to predict winning roulette numbers.
When you’re gambling, the thing to do is compare the risk versus the reward.
The risk involved with using a handheld roulette computer is that it won’t work correctly, but the more important risk is that you’ll go to jail and wind up with a criminal record.
How does a roulette computer work?
It just measures the speed of the ball and predicts which number it’s going to fall into.
The Math Behind Predicting Roulette Numbers
I think it’s already clearly established that you can’t predict which number is going to be the next number that hits in roulette. The best you can hope to do is to predict which small set of numbers has a higher probability of including a winner.
Let’s look at the math behind that for a minute.
The probability of winning a single number bet on an American roulette wheel is 1/38, or 37 to 1.
If you were able to find a set of numbers that were twice as likely to hit, you’d face odds of 2/38, or 18 to 1.
The payout for a single number bet is 35 to 1.
If you make 38 bets on a completely random wheel, you’ll win 35 units and lose 37 units on 38 spins.
But if you make 38 bets on a wheel where a number is twice as likely to come up, you’ll win 70 units and lose 37 units.
The difference is dramatic.
Of course, I just double the probability for illustrative purposes.
You wouldn’t need to come anywhere close to being that accurate, by the way.
If a single number were even 125% more likely to come up than it should be, you’d have a profitable bet that you could make repeatedly until you were rich.
What about Psychic Powers?
I’m 100% convinced that superstitious gambling is a fool’s errand. I don’t believe that your hunch is ever going to help you overcome the house edge in roulette. You might THINK you’re getting messages from the spirit world about which number is about to come up, but I think if you carefully track your results, you’ll find otherwise.
I don’t feel like I need to provide evidence that psychic powers don’t work, because that’s not an extraordinary claim. If you make extraordinary claims, the burden’s on you to prove them.
But I will say that the Amazing Randi offered $1 million to anyone who could demonstrate any kind of paranormal abilities, and it was never claimed. In fact, they ended the challenge after decades because it became increasingly obvious no one was ever going to be able to scientifically demonstrate their ability to read minds or foretell the future.
Of course, in the short run, anyone can have a run of good luck at the roulette table. The casinos are counting on it, in fact. No one would play the game if no one ever went home a winner.
But the probability that you’ll predict the next lucky roulette number is 1/38 regardless of what techniques you use.
Anything else is wishful thinking.
What Is Luck, Anyway?
Here’s how probability works:
Game King Video Poker
When you have random events, you can measure how likely they are to occur by using a ratio. That ratio is simple — it’s just a fraction or division problem that compares the total number of possible outcomes with the outcome you’re solving for.
With roulette, you have 38 numbers on the wheel. Unless something unusual is happening, the probability for each number coming up is the same.
That means you have a 1/38 probability of predicting the winning number on each spin.
But random events are just that — random.
And we’re talking about independent events here. What happened on the previous spin doesn’t affect the probability on the next spin.
You might think that if the ball landed on 19 twice in a row, it would be less likely to come up again on the 3rd spin. Or you might think that it’s a hot number and more likely to come up on the next spin.
Neither of those thoughts is correct, though.
The probability is still 1/38.
The nature of random events is that sometimes you’ll see streaks, but those streaks are impossible to predict. You’ll almost never see a perfect distribution.
Think about it.
In a perfect distribution of 38 roulette spins, you’d see every number come up once and only once.
But that’s unlikely in the extreme.
Someone who bets the same number on every spin will sometimes get lucky and see that number come up more than once in an hour or in a playing session.
That doesn’t mean anything magical has happened.
It just means that the gambler got lucky.
Finally
Predicting lucky roulette numbers is a fool’s errand at best. If you want to play roulette, by all means, do so.
Just don’t fall into the trap of thinking that you’re somehow going to beat the odds with some kind of harebrained strategy for predicting the next roulette number.
If anyone had a remotely useful way of doing so, you can bet that the casino would change the rules of the game to prevent the players from getting an edge.
